Chocolate cherry pie

Pie crust : 

  • 22 dag of flour
  • ½  of baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 10 dag of sugar
  • 10 dag of butter

Beat the whole egg, egg yolk and butter with sugar. Flour mix with baking powder and add it to the mixture. Bake 10-15 min/180°C 

Stuffing 1 

  • 1 jar of cherry compote
  • 2 spoons of cornstarch
  • cinnamon, sugar

Strain the cherries and mix them with cinnamon, starch and sugar spread them on to the baked crust. 

Stuffing 2

  • 14 dag of butter
  • 15-20 dag of chocolate (steam it)
  • 4 eggs
  • 20 dag of sugar

Mix eggs with sugar and butter. Add steamed chocolate in beaten mixture.  Pour it over the cherries and bake around 35 min at 180°C. 

Decorate with glaze and chopped hazelnuts.
