Construction of a new Kandit factory started
Today, March 1 the construction of a new Kandit factory officially began. Therefore, this project, worth over 20 million euros, entered in the second phase of implementation. With the arrival of new owner in mid-2011, Kandit has completely redefined its strategy in the market through new products, went through significant organizational and personnel changes, modernized its business and worked intensively on building a completely new chocolate and candy factory. The new factory will cover 23,000 m² and, for Kandit, that means the possibility of producing modern, diverse products in accordance with market trends and increase in production capacity. This is a significant investment in the region, and it should be noted that the construction of the factory actually started the development of the company in new technological and organizational conditions. By restructuring, reorganizing and building of a new factory Kandit will be ready for the EU market and will set the modern-designed products in order to win customers in the region. Completion of work and final relocation is planned for the first half of 2014.
